Mission

Protecting children through immunizations. 

The objectives for achieving this mission include:

(a) Identifying barriers and developing programs and materials to improve families' access to immunizations.

(b) Sponsoring countywide multimedia campaigns promoting immunizations.

(c) Enhancing healthcare providers' efforts to increase immunizations.

(d) Developing ongoing partnerships with community leaders including churches, businesses, schools and hospitals.

Composed of:

Over 60 organizations and individuals representing a public/private partnership of civic/service organizations, businesses, health and human service providers, educators, and faith community.

Facilitated since 1995 by the Community Council of Greater Dallas.

News & Events

For the past three years, the Immunize Kids! Dallas Area Partnership has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities, local McDonald's restaurants and other local health partners to implement the "Immunize for Healthy Lives" program. Immunization information is distributed on McDonald's tray liners, at community events and through television and radio PSAs.
