The DAAA provides
services for seniors through contracts with public,
private and non-profit organizations including
nutrition and supportive programs. The DAAA funds
programs that respond to an unmet need or programs
that reflect federal and state mandates. Funding is
intended to serve as seed money unless the provider
is not capable of self support and the service meets
one of the above criteria. Requests for proposals
are issued and contracts are signed annually with
successful applicants. Agencies interested in
applying for funding assistance should contact the
director of the DAAA.
