Aging Information Office (AIO)

The Aging Information Office was established as part of the Information and Referral Service sponsored by the Community Council of Greater Dallas. The Dallas Area Agency on Aging has contracted with CCGD for the Aging Information Office to be part of the Texas 2-1-1 system. The AIO is designed to be the entry point to the DAAA service system. AIO is a telephone service that responds to requests for information guides and directs individuals to services and case coordination programs provided by the aging network.

The CCGD maintains a comprehensive database of all human service agencies and the AIO has immediate access to this information. An Aging Information Directory is also published by the CCGD and it is available free to the public.

Available to anyone seeking information on human service agencies in Dallas County and throughout the State of Texas
