Dallas Community Youth Development (CYD)Programs are located in Oak Cliff (75216) and Pleasant Grove (75217). The Dallas CYD program provides after-school and non-school hour services, conflict resolution training, character development skills, cognitive life-skills training, and gang prevention, all designed and structured to provide alternative life-style choices and prevent delinquency. Each program establishes performances baselines by documenting the child's school attendance, grades, and program participation. Monthly reports validate that effort is working.

established 10 Areas of Core Life Skills. The essential
elements are addressed in 5 workshop categories that
